In the Palazzo Querini-Stampalia Querini's collection of paintings, furniture and Sevres china service offers an insight into the way of living of an average noble Venetian family in the 18th Century.

Carpaccio's paintings

This is a special guided tour of the Scuola di S. Giorgio degli Schiavoni, a former guild that contains the beautiful cycle of paintings by Vittore Carpaccio representing among others St. George killing the dragon and saving the princess.
